Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will deliver her final State of the State speech as governor Wednesday night to a joint session of the Michigan Legislature.
The speech is slated to begin at 7 p.m. in the House of Representatives inside the state Capitol.
The term-limited Democratic governor will outline her priorities for her final 10 months in office during a joint session of the Legislature from the Michigan House of Representatives in Lansing.
The event will be broadcast on local public television and on the governor's Facebook and YouTube pages. The Detroit News will have a livestream here as well at detroitnews.com.
