James Comer demands Biden’s doctor answer questions about president’s health, business dealings with Biden family

On Sunday, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), chair of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, called on President Biden's physician, Dr. Kevin O'Conner, to testify before the committee regarding his medical assessments of Biden and his alleged private endeavors with the Biden family's business schemes.

This comes following an explosive report released on Saturday that revealed a Parkinson's specialist had visited the White House to meet with Biden's main physician several times, according to White House visitor logs. Congressman Comer contended in the letter to O'Conner that the committee is concerned that the physician's medical assessment of Biden could have been influenced by his private business endeavors with the Biden family.

"After a concerning debate performance by President Biden against former President Donald Trump on June 27, journalists have rushed to report on what Americans have seen plainly for years: the President appears unwell. Americans question President Biden's ability to lead the country, and the Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating circumstances surrounding your assessment in February of this year that 'President Biden is a healthy, active, robust 81-year-old-male, who remains fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency,'" wrote Comer.
