A U.S. Naval Academy midshipman was injured Thursday while security teams cleared a building during a campus lockdown, according to Naval Support Activity, Annapolis.
According to the Baltimore Banner, the midshipman was shot during while Naval Security Forces worked to clear a building.
Naval Academy officials said the injured midshipman was flown to a hospital in stable condition.
The governor's office said there is no credible threat at the U.S. Naval Academy, and the lockdown was cleared overnight.
