RFK Jr.’s former running mate reveals justice system is ‘abused’ by ‘nefarious people with malevolent political agendas’ persecuting Trump

On Tuesday, Nicole Shanahan, the running mate of former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., said that the “justice system is clearly being co-opted and abused by nefarious people with malevolent political agendas" following the news that Jack Smith had filed a new grand jury indictment against former President Donald Trump.

"I'll admit I used to kind of roll my eyes when people claimed that President Trump was being ‘persecuted.’ I was looking at it through the distorted filter of the media," she wrote.

“Well, I just completed my first cross-examination in our second New York Ballot Access case,” Shanahan, an attorney, continued, “where the DNC-aligned PAC attorneys questioned me like a criminal. OK, I get it now. Our justice system is clearly being co-opted and abused by nefarious people with malevolent political agendas.”
